 Become an OSHA Authorized Trainer

To become an authorized OSHA trainer in the Construction Industry you must have completed the 500 Trainer Course. The pre-requisites for this course are:
• Five years of construction safety experience. (Two years of experience may be substituted with a college degree in occupational safety and health, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation, in the applicable training area).

• Completion of the pre-requisite 510 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry Course

 
To become an authorized OSHA trainer in the General Industry you must have completed the 501 Trainer Course. The pre-requisites for this course are:
• Five years of general industry safety experience. (Two years of experience may be substituted with a college degree in occupational safety and health, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation, in the applicable training area).

• Completion of the pre-requisite 511 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the General Industry Course
